Hermes Assistant is a private personal automation application used by the application owner to monitor and organize their Gmail account.
Google Account Data
Hermes Assistant may access Gmail data after the user explicitly authorizes access through Google's OAuth authorization system. This access may include reading email messages and metadata and modifying Gmail labels as necessary to provide email monitoring and organization functionality.
How Google Data Is Used
Google user data is used solely to provide the application's email-monitoring and organization features. This includes identifying messages that may require attention and organizing messages according to rules established by the user.

Hermes Assistant does not sell, rent, or share Google user data with advertisers or data brokers. Google user data is not used for advertising, marketing profiling, or unrelated purposes.
Data Storage and Security
OAuth credentials and application configuration used by Hermes Assistant are stored on systems controlled by the application owner and are used only to provide the authorized functionality.
Data Retention
Hermes Assistant retains only information necessary to provide its email-monitoring and organization functionality. Access to Google account data can be revoked by the user through their Google Account security settings.
Limited Use
Hermes Assistant's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
